About Tulip Books

Tulip Books is a ministry of Grace Baptist Church of Hartsville, Tennessee. It is under the pastoral supervision of the elders there. All writing, editing, and layout work is done by church members. Information regarding Grace Baptist Church may be found at hartsvillereformedbaptist.com.

Tulip Books exists because the Bible is the God-breathed, error-free, and fully sufficient revelation from God to man. In the words of our Baptist forefathers (as expressed in the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith), the Holy Scriptures constitute "the only sufficient, certain, and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience." It is therefore essential that we understand God’s truths, believe them, and apply them. The Holy Spirit frequently illuminates believers so they may understand the Scriptures via personal study; however, God has also ordained that teachers explain His Word to His people. Herein lies the mission of Tulip Books: to teach the Bible and thereby promote both comprehension and application. It is our goal that God’s saints be transformed by the renewing of their minds and thereby become living sacrifices who glorify God (Romans 12:1-2).
